2017 DAMC Official Fightin’ Texas Aggie Football Watch Party Information
We are proud to announce the official watch party of the Denver A&M Club will be held at Sloan’s Lake Tap & Burger. We will be there every weekend for each and every game.
This location is brand new, with views of new, LCD TVs from each and every seat! We have the entire bar and surround sound. They are crafting a special game day menu for us (full menu is also available every game – their food is delish) as well as drink specials! Special menu and drinks specials will be shared soon. Be seated at a booth or table with your friends or family, or grab a seat at the bar and meet someone new. There is plenty of seating and we hope this will be more family friendly!
Free parking is available in the garage on the first two floors, or on the street. We will have door prizes and our merch table set up each week. Gig ’em Aggies!!

2017 SEC Picnic
Saturday, August 26th the Denver SEC clubs will be back in outdoor action with the ultimate goodbye to summer and hello to football season SEC style! From the success and growth of the event, we had to make some changes, and are SUPER excited to have everyone back out to continue this great tradition forward!
Please be sure to catch all the details below since there are several changes from previous years.
Tickets must be purchased in advance by 5pm Friday, August 11. (You do not need to purchase a ticket if you want to just come and hang out, and not receive a meal. You can also bring your own picnic). Please bring your own chairs, and feel free to BYOB. NO GLASS. When you arrive, check in at the A&M tent.

**Our picnic spot is on the South East side of the park off 117th, near the skate park.
Exit I-25 North at 120th, & take a right (east) onto 120th. Take a right (south) onto Washington St, then take a right onto 117th.
Parking Lots and street parking – due to the number of attendees expected, we highly recommend carpooling!
There is a small lot next to the picnic site and street parking along 117th.
There is another parking lot off Community Center Dr., with a short walk over to our picnic site (head east from this lot to our spot)**
There is a RTD Park N Ride Station – Wagon Rd – @ I-25 & 120th with a short walk over to the park

Food will be catered by Jim N Nicks BBQ. We’ll have pork and chicken BBQ, Homemade Mac’ N Cheese, Bar-B-Que Baked Beans, Creamy Cole Slaw, Slow-cooked Collards, bread & cheese biscuits, cookies, sauces, pickles, and tea or water. There will be several service lines with food served by Jim N Nicks’ staff.
** FOOD TICKET IS REQUIRED TO GET A PLATE.**
Your ticket purchase covers the food, & includes complimentary Blue Moon Beer (until it runs out) for those over 21.
You must present a valid ID at check in with your club for a wrist band for the beer – see your club for further info.
We’ll have a DJ providing a music backdrop for good food and socializing, and you won’t want to miss out on fun for the kids with a Gator Egg Hunt, and a Jim N Nicks Cheese Biscuit Eating Contest and Conference Flip Cup for the adults!
Thank you for keeping these in mind as this is important for us to be able to continue having a picnic!
· As with previous years, folks are welcome to come out with their own picnic items, but catered food and drink is strictly for those that purchase a ticket.
· NO PETS allowed at this event or park.
· NO GLASS – if you bring your own picnic, glass is absolutely NOT ALLOWED.
· Our event will be roped off and all drinking must be kept within the roped off section.
We would encourage that you bring your picnic/tailgate seating and games!
